Mabel’s & Papa’s birthday

Have been wanting to write this post but I’m never getting the time. So finally I’m squeezing time out to get this post done and update this space of mine. :) Attended Mabel’s advanced 21st celebration the week after meixuan’s (see before post). Attending birthday parties one after another is like the all-year activity for 2014. Mabel held her celebration in chalet and lots of relatives were invited. Luckily we went as a group or else I would be wondering like some lost kid among the crowd. It was a special double celebration with her dad turning 60 too so that explains the big celebration and crowd! See the nicely-decorated wall with props for photo-taking! Basically Mabel’s bf was the photographer of the day, so i didn’t even took much pictures with my phone. Most (or all) of the pictures were credits from Mabel! Food was good and there were beer hahahahas And here’s a picture for laughs… And as expected, a big crowd means LOUD. So the birthday song was magnificent~ Happy birthday to Mabel's papa too! Stayed till about 12+ playing some card games among ourselves. Thank god we managed to catch the last train back. Though this might be late, but thank you Mabel for being a great host! ******************** And here’s part 2 of the post: a mini celebration for my papa who turned 60 this year hahahas! First time in so many years we celebrated a family member’s birthday with a cake. Usually we don’t do this cos we don’t really have this tradition of cake-cutting at home. Guess this year’s a little different cos it’s a big birthday after all :) So here’s a mini truffle for us 4! Don’t ask me why it seems like its my mum who is celebrating her birthday lols. My dad just don’t like taking pictures I guess… And here’s to birthday song, wishing and cake-cutting~ |

Went for a stroll along the boardwalk and the sea breeze was awesome. Though didn’t managed to catch up much with the busy girl but it was still an awesome party. She was still worried about the deco and cake but I’ll say it was pretty much sorted out well in the end!
