Adventure Cove!
Monday, May 27, 2013

Met DDC on sat for Adventure Cove! Am a Singaporean but haven’t been actively visiting most of the tourists’ spots in Singapore. After hearing all the raves about AC I finally got a chance to visit it for myself last Saturday. Initially it was planned for the girls but ended up only DDC made it. Jiaying, ginny and najmah only joined us for dinner at Astons at night.

Queue was damn long for the tram ride into Sentosa. Weekend crowd is really NO JOKE man, crowded like mad is Vivo’s 3rd floor! Got off at Waterfront station then had to walk about 200m in order to get to AC!

Put lots of sunblock in prevention against sunburn. The weather was still quite ok though it became quite hot on some occasions while we were queue-ing under the hot sun.

According to the staffs there that day was considered exceptionally crowded since it’s the weekends and many ppl who went on vesak day were asked to come back on Sat since there were insufficient tickets. But it wasn’t as big a crowd I expected, seemed like any other crowds any tourists’ spot would experience on a weekend. But the rides there were long queues~ All of the rides need at least 60 min of waiting time for the experience to happen. Luckily we came in a big group and chatted while we wait otherwise it would be really boring and time-wasting just waiting for the rides…

Below are photos taken using shugee’s camera! Only she had the waterproof bag which allowed us to take pictures while in the pool. Thankful for that or else all the fun would be missed by the camera! Credits to shugee’s cam for the pictures below!

One thing good about AC is that life vests and floats are available for free use. But considering that their ticket is $29 per entry, that should be the least they do yea? (And did I mention that their lockers were rented at a freaking 10$ for a pathetic small size?!)

Halfway through the tsunami I got serious sea sickness and have to stop. Lols who get sea sick in a pool on this earth except me?! Got unwell for awhile and hunger contributed to the effect making it worse. The pool closes at 6pm and we made the most exciting ride the last ride. But halfway through the queue me and shugee got so tired we pulled out and went to bath instead. Betrayals cum backout team FTW (V)! Hahahahas in the end we bathed and slacked while waiting for the rest to join us after their last ride. Our hunger was beyond words due to skipping lunch!

The after-dinner walk and then home for the day! Though it seems like we didn’t do much but at the end of the day I felt like my energy were drained. probably the mental effect that there was work the next day ><

One last photo to end my post! And note eeping photo-bombing under the most unplanned way! HAHAHAHAHS!!!
