Bkk day 6!

Coming to the end of our 1-week bkk trip we finally visited the Madame Tussauds wax museum! Woke up early for some swimming and sauna so we could look 'slimmer' for the day. Dressed up to the nines with the dresses we bought so we could take pictures with the figurines there.Due to our early bird tickets we had to reach there before 12. Had our breakfast at a cafe near outside the wax museum before entering and their ham and cheese puff pastry was very nice! Cheese inside the puff was awesome. Liked the wax museum more than the ocean world we visited. It was so much more interesting to me and the figurines were really real. From afar to up-close, the wax figurines looked almost like the real thing. Even the height and the features were made to look exactly the same and the actual person. Standing close to the figurines and looking at them can really creep you out. The best thing that the museum carries is nickhun! But a pity he didn't look the way we expected. Not sure if its because we have not seen him in real before and don't know how he exactly looked or if his figurine really had some diff. But overall it was still very nice to see him there and take a picture! XD the museum even had figurines of Lee Hsien Long, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Jackie Chan, Justin Bieber and many many more! Hanged around in the museum for quite some time before having a late lunch at MBK mall. The international food court there serves lots of cuisine and we ended up having a spread for lunch again. It's no wonder it's impossible not to gain weight dying this 7 days! Spent our night at platinum mall and the usual night street shopping outside the mall. Had a cartoon of me drawn by an artist there and she was really talented. She drew me while looking at me and even draw my magnum ice-cream for me! Then at night when we returned back to the hotel we laid out all our loots on our hotel bed and took pictures. It was only until now that I realised I bought quite a lot, especially the bags. But quite a proportion are for others so it was still comforting when I think up to this point. On this last night we ate our dinner at this insanely hour of 12+ while watching Kim kardashian variety. It was only until 3+ in the night did we decided to retire for bed. Imagine how much we will miss the times in bkk when we return!        |
