Something I saw today after having lunch. Had lunch in a restaurant near the motel today with a friend because I could report late for work today. While eating, an old uncle walked past us and walked back out again. People might think that this is nothing special and could not be bothered. But when we stood up to leave with the leftovers on the table, that old man sat down at our seats and started slurping the leftover noodles we couldn't finish. And just, to say the food there isn't nice at all. Picky about food is what we always are. Complaining this or that is not nice, choosing only things that we like and discarding the rest. But to some others, anything filling is all they need. Beggars, we might have seen much. We may sympathise them and donate some money. But what about the other group who only goes around eating leftovers? These are the ones we do not see often. 这就是社会的悲哀。there's so much poverty and sadness yet there's nothing we can do about it. Sighs for life, that's the way it is~ |
